About the Artwork
This painting shows the oak tree on Clos Henri Vineyard in Blenheim. It was painted during the “Paintaway” organised by Watercolour New Zealand in May 2025. The weather was very cold and breezy. I had to take refuge behind the tasting rooms to protect my easel from the wind.
