Lake Rotoiti

Lake Rotoiti is part of the Nelson Lakes close to St. Arnaud. Lake Rotoiti was the first plein air painting I painted during the “Paintaway” organised by Watercolour New Zealand in May 2025. It shows the lake impacted by rain and wind. In fact, I had to paint from inside the car as my easel would have flown away.
