The Nelson Lighthouse

The Nelson Lighthouse is one of the icons on the Boulder Bank in the Nelson Harbour. This painting was painted on location (en plein air) which makes it even more special. When painting on location you experience and remember more closely your environment and the things that happened during the day. In this case I remember the incredible bird life, the water taxi and the great company getting to the lighthouse.
