Lake Tekapo – A4 Print

Haven and Earth come together at Lake Tekapo! 

The McKenzie Basin is one of the most stunning places of New Zealand. Particularly at Lake Tekapo, the serenity of the surrounding mountains, the tranquil waters of the lake, and the proximity of the sky create an awe-inspiring experience. 

In 2025, I visited the lake and spent a delightful morning sketching, which eventually lead to a beautiful studio painting and later to this print.

The Giclée print refers to a fine art print, which has high end museum grade archival quality. This means that the prints are light fast, won’t fade, and they are not water soluble. The digitising of the artwork has been done in the highest resolution possible, and a thorough colour correction process before printing ensures the best colour accuracy.

Nicole Russell’s prints are done on 340gsm cold pressed archival paper which is 100% cotton based. It is acid free, lignin free and chlorine free and contains no optical brightness.
