About the Artwork
Palette knife painting in oil of a sea lion. It was amazing to see the sea lions and seals at Farewell Spit, a famous beach at Collingwood, Tasman, New Zealand. The conditions were harsh with winds gusting over 40kts, and the sand flying sideways. Still, the animals didn’t seem to mind.
