Waiting at the Bus Stop in Tasman

While I was enjoying an ice cream at the corner store in Tasman, New Zealand, I saw this man sitting at the bus stop at the other side of the road. The sun was shining and the cicadas were signing their summers’ heat song.  The scene was remarkably peaceful and relaxed that it deserved to be painted. I used oil paints and the palette knife.
