Photos of Plein Air Painting at Ruby’s Espresso, Nelson

Plein air painting was a bit different this time. We were at Ruby’s Espresso on Akersten Street, Nelson, which had a lot of guests coming and going, ordering drinks and food, sitting down, chatting, reading, etc. Talk about a busy place. Some of the guests came up to us to check out what we were doing, some were quite inspired and may join us next time. It was lovely to have a little chat. I painted at group of people sitting around one of the tables. It turned out they were visiting from Australia and they ended up buying my work.  What a great memory to take home from your trip?!
