Meet us for plein air painting on 1st March 2023, 10am, at Java Hut, 84B Aranui Road, Mapua. Java Hut is a little cafe in Mapua and has become the go-to place for many locals. It’s colourful, friendly and has good coffee, too. Coming into Mapua it is on your left hand side before the tennis courts. There is typically plenty of on-street parking. The location offers lots of boats in front of the easel and possibly coffee from the restaurant behind the easel. Meet us for plein air painting on 8th February 2023, 10am, at Paddy’s Knob, Nelson. Paddy’s Knob offers an aerial view over the Nelson Bay, however it doesn’t offer any toilets or shelter.
