Meet us for plein air painting on 30th October 2019, 10am, at Broadgreen Historic House, 276 Nayland Road, Nelson, where the roses should be blooming. Please bring your painting supplies, a chair, bug spray, sun screen, morning tea/lunch and good weather. Photos of Wednesday’s plein air painting at Styx Restaurant can be viewed here. Plein air is scheduled for every Wednesday morning, except the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Please contact me if you like regular updates by email.

It was a chilly day today and the wind made our easels rattle. Still we had a great time and all grouped up in the one protected corner of the board walk. The view on Mt. Arthur and the Nelson port was spectacular. How lucky that this little red freighter showed up, too. Watercolours and oil were painted today. These are some photos:

Plein air at Washbourn Gardens yesterday was just beautiful. The spring flowers were simply stunning. Here are some photos.

Although the weather was a bit shaky, plein air painting started beautifully today at Miyazu Japanese Gardens, Nelson. These are some of today's photos:
