Plein Air Painting, 13th May 2026, Branford Park, Nelson

Meet us for plein air painting on Wednesday, 13th May 2026, 10am, at Branford Park, Maitai Valley Road, Nelson. Branford Park is a peaceful wide grassy reserve surrounded by mature autumn coloured trees, on the north bank of the Maitai River.  It is situated right at the beginning of the Maitai Valley, on the left, as you enter the valley.  It is a dog-friendly park and has toilets. 

Lunch: There is no cafe at the park. Please bring a picnic lunch.

Please bring your painting supplies, a chair, bug spray, sun screen, morning tea/lunch and good weather.

Plein air is scheduled for every Wednesday morning, except the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Please contact me if you like regular updates by email.
