Plein Air Painting, 6th May 2026, Sanctuary Ponds Reserve, Motueka

This location looks like a treat for autumn colour reflections. 

Meet us for plein air painting on Wednesday 6th May 2026, 10am at the Sanctuary Ponds Reserve, 48 Old Wharf Rd, Motueka. The reserve is in the park off Old Wharf Rd, Port Motueka, opposite the skate park. The water is a tidal creek and high tide is at 12:30pm. 

Lunch: the nearest cafe is the Coastal Cafe, Port Motueka

Please bring your painting supplies, a chair, bug spray, sun screen, morning tea/lunch good weather.

Plein air painting is scheduled for every Wednesday morning, except the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Please note, we won’t meet if the weather is not accomodating (rain or strong winds).
