Palette Knife Workshop – Photos

Last Saturday’s palette knife workshop organised by the Art Group Nelson was fully booked. The participants learned different techniques when painting with the palette knife and accomplished various exercises followed by two paintings. The exercises focused on painting water (lake or see with gentle waves, rolling waves, reflections), trees and grasses, soft and loose edges. After this the first still life painting was done in 30 minutes (yes, you can finish a palette knife painting that fast!) and then a final work of your choice. The venue was perfect and comfortable.
