Meet us for plein air painting on 1st February 2023, 10am, Founders Heritage Park, 87 Atawhai Drive, Nelson. Founders Park offers historic homes, a windmill, church, cars, buses, airplane and hopefully coffee if the cafe is open…

Please bring your painting supplies, a chair, bug spray, sun screen, morning tea/lunch and good weather. I’m afraid that the weather forecast doesn’t look the best at the moment. But Founders Park offers shelter if necessary.

Plein air painting is scheduled for every Wednesday morning, except the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Please note, we won’t meet if the weather is not accomodating (rain or strong winds).

Please let me know if you have any suggestions on where to go for plein air painting. Founders Park was one of the suggestions. Next I have Paddy’s Knob, Haulashore Island, Anchor Bar & Grill and the Kumeras.
