This Weekend! Mapua School Garden trail

Here is some information regarding the Mapua School Garden Trail and the two gardens where we artists are invited to paint. 

The days are 22 and 23 November 2025, 10-3 pm

Purchase a ticket if you intend to visit all the gardens either online  at www.formsnz/events  or cash sales at Rabbit Island Coffee at Mapua Wharf or Mapua Landscapes in Warren Place Mapua. 

The 2 gardens for artists to paint in are:

22 Admirals Way… “a large 5 acres country garden on a hill with stunning views, featuring a big pond, many roses and perennials, hydrangeas and stunning walkways”

Parking for this garden.. go past the entrance to the garden and turn right at the vineyard and go towards the cliff where there is an empty section with plenty of room for parking and a side entrance into the garden. We are permitted to use the chalet to make tea/coffee etc and there is a toilet near the chalet.

20 Baldwin Rd Tasman…” a half acre property established in 1996 with roses, perennials, espaliered fruit trees, kitchen garden, trees, shrubs, box topiaries and more.” Parking here will be on the road outside the property.

The usual… sunscreen, hat, insect repellant, chair etc for pleinair painting. Paint as long as you wish on one or both days.
