Plein Air Painting, 10th December 2025, Old Constabulary, Brightwater

Let’s try it again and hope this time we have nice weather. Meet us for plein air painting on 10th December 2025, 10am, at the Old Constabulary in Brightwater, 15 Jeffries Road. The property is at the corner of Lord Rutherford Rd and Jeffries Rd.

The building is a gorgeous old New Zealand style villa, which is not inhabited any more. The owners store hay in the building and sheep on the lawn. However, the sheep will be gone when we arrive to paint and we should be able to park our cars on the paddock by the building.

Please note: There are no cafes or toilets nearby. I suggest to bring your lunch for a picnic.

Please bring your painting supplies, a chair, bug spray, sun screen, morning tea/lunch and good weather.

Plein air painting is scheduled for every Wednesday morning, except the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Please note, we won’t meet if the weather is not accomodating (rain or strong winds).
