Lake Tekapo

Haven and Earth come together at Lake Tekapo!

The McKenzie Basin is one of the most stunning places of New Zealand. Particularly at Lake Tekapo, the serenity of the surrounding mountains, the tranquil waters of the lake, and the proximity of the sky create an awe-inspiring experience.

In 2025, I visited the lake and spent a delightful morning sketching. This painting is a culmination of those sketches, created later in my studio.
