Nelson Lighthouse and Naked Ladies
Nelson Lighthouse and Naked Ladies (Amaryllis Belladonna) is a very special painting to me. The perspective is unusual, especially how you look up at the flowers called "Naked Ladies" (Amaryllis Belladonna). Richmond Ranges from Motueka
"Richmond Ranges from Motueka", 6 x 8 inches, is an original oil painting. This work is one of my plein air paintings. The plein air painting group and I visited Motueka at the end of Staples Road and painted looking over the Nelson bay towards the Richmond hills. “7am at Java Hut” is the larger one of two oil paintings done of Java Hut, the funky coffee place in Mapua. For some locals it has become tradition to meet in the morning at 7am when the shop opens to grab a coffee and then go for a walk to the waterfront.
