Photos of Plein Air Painting at Miyazu Gardens, Nelson

Last Wednesday’s plein air painting at Miyazu Gardens, Nelson, was challenging and lovely. The wind was blowing so strongly that painting with a free standing easel would have been interesting. Most of us were satisfied with a little sketch or watercolour painting. Still, the wind managed to blow my materials around and I had to run after them like a spooked chicken. However, the sunshine was beautiful and we enjoyed strong contrasts. Here are some photos:
