Meet us for plein air painting on Wednesday, 13th February 2024, 10am, Founders Heritage Park, 87 Atawhai Drive, Nelson. Founders Park offers historic homes, a windmill, church, cars, buses, airplane and hopefully coffee if the cafe is open… 

Please bring your painting supplies, a chair, bug spray, sun screen, morning tea/lunch and good weather.

Plein air painting is scheduled for every Wednesday morning, except the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Please note, we won’t meet if the weather is not accomodating (rain or strong winds).

Let me know if you have any suggestions on where to go for plein air painting. Founders Park was one of the suggestions. Hidden Sculpture Gardens, 88 Valley Road (Trevor Marshall, autumn), Gravity Vinery (autumn), Nelson Port at the end of Akersten Street and Hoddy Reserve are on the list.
