Let's try it again and hopefully this time with better weather: Meet us for plein air painting on 9th December 2020, 10am, at Rough Island. On the road towards Rabbit Island turn left at Tic Toc Road onto Rough Island, pass the Equestrian Centre and all the way towards the boat ramp. What a beautiful and convenient spot to paint en plein air. There are boats, mountains, people, and a cafe. I love it when I can get a fresh coffee right next to my plein air painting. We had a surprisingly lovely day at Port Nelson this week. It looked rather gloomy and windy when the day started but the clouds lifted, the wind calmed down and the weather was perfect. Here are some photos:

Plein Air Painting at Washbourn Gardens turned out to be a bit of a surprise when we found most of the beautiful flower empty. The council workers were still there, flattening out the beds for the next crop. Never mind we still made due with painting trees, bushes, the workers or the old historic jail. Most enjoyable was going into the next cafe to warm up and have Show & Tell. Here are some photos:
