Plein Air Painting, 29th March 2023, Lake Rotoiti, St. Arnaud (RSVP) 

What a treat! On Wednesday, 29th March 2023 we are going to Lake Rotoiti, St. Arnaud, for plein air painting. So far it looks like we have three drivers (Paul Deacon, Nicole Russell and Jo Crompton). Paul is leaving from Richmond,  Jo is leaving from Atawhai and Nicole is leaving from Ruby Bay. The cars have space for more artists available if you like to share a ride. All of us will meet at 9:30am at the Wakefield Bakery, 12 Clifford Road, Wakefield (“Wakey-Bakey”). From there we will drive to Lake Rotoiti and set up at the quay.

The Alpine Lodge, 75 Main Road, St. Arnaud is a good place to meet for a coffee before heading home. 

Please bring your painting supplies, a chair, bug spray(!!!), sun screen, morning tea/lunch, good weather and maybe a swim suit…

If you have any suggestions on where to go for plein air, please let me know and I will include it in the list. Lake Rotoiti was one of the suggestions. Riwaka Wharf is next.

Plein air is scheduled for every Wednesday morning, except the 3rd Wednesday of the month. Please contact me if you like regular updates by email.
