Plein Air Painting, 28th September 2022, Miyazu Gardens

This season plein air is starting one week earlier than usual. Spring is here and the cherry blossoms at Miyazu Gardens are waiting to be painted. If we wait until next week we might miss out. Palette Knife Workshop – Photos

Last Saturday's palette knife workshop organised by the Art Group Nelson was fully booked. The participants learned different techniques when painting with the palette knife and accomplished various exercises followed by two paintings. The exercises focused on painting water (lake or see with gentle waves, rolling waves, reflections), trees and grasses, soft and loose edges.
