Meet us for plein air painting on 28th October 2020, 10am, at Styx Restaurant, 272 Wakefield Quay, Nelson. We can enjoy the view of the harbour entrance, boats on anchor and Haulashore Island. Student’s Artwork

It's always great seeing students having fun with their paintings. In this case it is a gorgeous little red tractor painted from life and a painting based on a childhood memory. Both were done at the Waimea College Class Painting for all Levels.

Plein Air Painting at Washbourn Gardens turned out to be a bit of a surprise when we found most of the beautiful flower empty. The council workers were still there, flattening out the beds for the next crop. Never mind we still made due with painting trees, bushes, the workers or the old historic jail. Most enjoyable was going into the next cafe to warm up and have Show & Tell. Here are some photos:
