Meet us for plein air painting on 13th November 2019, 10am, at Rough Island. On the road towards Rabbit Island turn left at Tic Toc Road onto Rough Island, pass the Equestrian Centre and all the way towards the boat ramp. The ocean, mountains and islands give plenty of subjects to paint. Please bring your painting supplies, a chair, bug spray, sun screen, morning tea/lunch and good weather. It was the perfect day at Isel Park for plein air painting. Hardly any wind and slightly overcast. Sometimes it is quite nice if the sun is not glaring down at you. Here are some photos.
Yesterday the watercolour Journaling Class started with a surprisingly gorgeous day. We could see rain around us but Washbourn Gardens stayed dry. Here are some photos.

I love painting at Broadgreen Historic House, Stoke/Nelson. It offers beautiful historic architecture, enchanted gardens and lots and lots of roses once they are in bloom. Here are some photos.

It was a chilly day today and the wind made our easels rattle. Still we had a great time and all grouped up in the one protected corner of the board walk. The view on Mt. Arthur and the Nelson port was spectacular. How lucky that this little red freighter showed up, too. Watercolours and oil were painted today. These are some photos:
