Gosh, the wind was unbelievable, brisk and chilly. One easel went flying the other one was stabilised with a lot of weight. Hard core plein air painting, that's what it was. Still, the sun was shining. We were challenged but happy.

Plein air painting was a bit different this time. We were at Ruby's Espresso on Akersten Street, Nelson, which had a lot of guests coming and going, ordering drinks and food, sitting down, chatting, reading, etc. Talk about a busy place.
